This is a disappointing response to see from a software engineer.

Every tool has its purpose. React or UI frameworks and libraries in general are not the answer to every problem, but they are tools that help solve a subset of problems.

React for example is great for its reusability, declarative syntax, speed, testability, and developer tools.

Not to mention this article focuses on writing clean React code, not whether or not you should be using React to begin with.

I'm afraid you've missed the mark.
